Robert A. Taft

During the Clinton Administration, Robert A. Taft served as deputy assistant secretary for international affairs in the U.S. Department of Commerce and subsequently served as president and CEO of the eight World Trade Centers in Florida.

He has lived and worked in nearly 80 countries and has extensive ties in those and several more. He has consulted with a number of Fortune-500 companies as well as foreign governments, and has helped develop international strategies for over 1,500 small and medium-sized businesses. He has also represented technology-based and capital equipment producers in difficult third-world markets.

Currently he specializes in corporate analysis, both domestic and international, and financial analysis, including ratios, ROI, ROR, break even, market penetration, 4C competitive, Altman Z, Working Capital, Dupont, etc. He as a Bachelor of Arts from St. Michael’s College and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Connecticut and has taught international business at Georgetown University and the University of Central Florida. He is also the author of Growing Your Business Globally.
